BCS professional certification (formerly ISEB) Business Analysis Diploma

The internationally recognised BCS (ISEB) Diploma in Business Analysis demonstrates that you possess the knowledge and skills required to work effectively as a business analyst, a role which involves identifying business needs and helping to solve problems. The qualification is therefore ideal for people who aim to develop their career in business analysis.

In order to be awarded the diploma, you need to achieve four business analysis certificates (by passing four written exams) and also pass an oral exam. Below are details about the various certificates you can choose from and also the oral exam, with links to information about relevant training courses.

Oral exam

You arrange the oral exam with BCS (ISEB), within 12 months of achieving the fourth certificate. The oral exam is based on the BCS (ISEB) Diploma in Business Analysis Syllabus and lasts for approximately 50 minutes. In order to pass it, you need to demonstrate competency in and beyond the areas of business analysis covered by your certification, as well as the interpersonal skills required to conduct yourself effectively as a business analyst.
