  • Pre-requisites

  • Either the ITIL v3 Foundation certificate or the ITIL v2 Foundation + Bridge certificate (documentary evidence of this qualification, and photographic ID, must be demonstrated prior to the examination)
  • Familiarity with IT terminology
  • Understanding of how RCV management fits into the business environment
  • Experience working in a service management capacity within a service provider environment, with responsibility relating to at least one of the relevant ITIL processes*


  • *ITIL processes relevant to the RCV thematic framework:

    Change Management, Release and Deployment Management, Service Validation and Testing, Service Asset and Configuration Management, Request Fulfilment, Service Evaluation and Knowledge Management

  • 5 days - examination on fifth day
